ENGLISH

When you are exposed to more than one language from early childhood, it opens your mind to new cultures and experiences, develops empathy and improves your powers of concentration.

At Centro Bilingue, our mother-tongue English teacher and bilingual educators use English to communicate with the children throughout the day: from 10 hours a week in the nursery schools to more than 20 hours a week in the preschools.

OUTDOOR EDUCATION

Outdoor activities allow us to socialise, learn, play, have fun, move our bodies and have new experiences.

In the nursery schools, and wearing the right clothes, we make full use of the gardens year-round: for our activities, to have lunch and at naptime.

Immune systems are strengthened and the risk of infection is reduced.

In the preschools the benefits of 'learning by doing' come to the fore, promoting self-esteem, creativity and problem-solving. Being outside allows children to move freely and improves their attention span and eyesight.

NURSERY SCHOOLS

0-3 years

Large, light-filled spaces, with floor-to-ceiling windows, divided by age:

  • Ladybugs section for its littlest members
  • Butterflies section for the bigger kids.

All with large fenced gardens, designed and furnished for doing outdoor activities in perfect safety.

PRESCHOOL

3-6 years

Centro Bilingue's preschool is an educational alternative to the public 'scuola dell'infanzia.'

Small classes allow for a personalised programme that respects the needs and interests of every child.

All activities, which form part of a single project for the 0-6 age group, take place year-round and are included in the monthly fees.

In addition, we offer:

guaranteed afternoon nap

parent-teacher conference with written report twice a year

screening for Speech and Learning difficulties (upon parental approval).

OUR MENU

Following a menu developed by our nutritionist, our local providers prepare our meals using top quality ingredients.

We can cater for all special diets: celiacs, food intollerances and allergies, vegetarians and vegans.

MUSIC

Music is a universal means of communication, helping to break down the barriers between us. Babies first feel the vibration of sound waves in the womb: it's natural for children to express their emotions through music and use its rhythms to develop coordination.

JUDO

Based on the dual principles of respect and non-violence, judo is now recommended for its educational value and as a therapeutic support activity.

Centro Bilingue teaches judo as a game, one that improves both gross motor and interpersonal skills.
